Hello Team,

we are using mega menu in ESC Portal

 I have a topic  ( Pay &time ), sub-topic ( Timekeeping )  and Quick links.

Can we hide subtopics and quick links based on logged in user?

A Topic/Sub-Topic will only not show if all its Connected Contents' (RP/Quick Links) User Criteria fail. Catalog Items, Record producers and Quick links use User Criteria in their Available for Related List. 

So if you have Catalog Item A and Catalog Item B in a Sub-Topic and the employee does not match both of these's User Criteria, then the Sub-Topic won't show. This is done to reduce confusion. If only Catalog Item A's User Criteria passes for the logged in employee, then the Sub-Topic shows.

So place your criteria on the RPs and Quick Links and any other Connected Contents.
