Roles in HRSD

Hi experts,

I have unclarity about the roles in HRSD. There are many user roles such as-

Alumni employee [sn_hr_core.hrsm_alumni]	Grants role to the employee who has left the company.	None
Contingent employee [sn_hr_core.hrsm_contingent]	Grants role to the employee who works temporary.	None
Contractor employee [sn_hr_core.hrsm_contractor]	Grants role to the employee who works as a contractor.	None
Full-time employee [sn_hr_core.hrsm_employee]	Grants role to the full-time employee.	None
New hire employee [sn_hr_core.hrsm_new_hire]	Grants role to the employee who is newly hired.

What access does these roles have and how do they differ from each other. When I created a user with No role, that user can access Employee Service center. Also, what access Security Information reader/writer has?

But do these have any specific access given, like for itil role has access to incident table. or we can just use these roles to create some ACL to create restriction or access to particular element?

OOB, these roles are not granting any specific access to records/data.  You can use them for ACL, User Criteria, Audiences, secure portal pages and widgets (add roles directly to them, if needed).
