Short Description Field on the HR case form is populated with HR Service name only in english even if the user's preferred language is different

Hi All,
Short description field on the HR Case form is getting populated with the HR Service name only in english for all the user.Even if the user's preferred language is some other language.
Any thoughts will be helpful.

I understand. Though, like I described: Short Description is not a Translated Text. It's a String field. So no, it will not get translated. It has to do with the field type like I mentioned. A string field will therefor only support one language.
See below:
Because of this, the translation (thru Translated Text / Fields) is working for the HR service name field. Though it's not (and also not sys_ui_message) working for Short Description.

Hi Mark,
will it work if i simply change the type of Short Description to Translated Text? Will it translate whatever is in Short Description?
