(Temporary?) double HRC-case numbers in the HRSD module?
See the confusion of the (proven) double case numbers in the past in regard of the Leave application request form case(s)
There have been several complaints about cases that have been submitted under the recently implemented “Leave form” and the fact that the requester nor the approvers received any of the updates/follow-up notifications.
What I realized is that -since we have proof of this- there have been identical numbers of HR cases, at least for a little while which has caused this.
Question:
Can you please explain how it is possible that Case numbers are being re-used of completed cases in the past?

See below: the proof of a request (HRC0045376) of ‘Leave application form’ from Martha, situation of September 3rd 2025 (date of email sent):
When People Solutions addressed the case to me last week, without having received the email above, I searched for tickets on her name and found this one below on her pregnancy leave. See: number HRC0048968. That is a whole different number than above in Martha’s own snapshots:
Besides, I looked up the HRC0045376 in the system today -after the reception of the mail of September 3rd) and discover a complete other ticket (closed already long time before the snapshots 😞
On the 3rd of September this year HRC0045376 case number in status Ready and as of today she cannot see them anymore (which is correct, since the case-number is attached already to another ticket from the past).
It looks like a BUG though that numbers are being re-used, even if it is only “temporarily”.
Please let me know whats causing this and how to fix this
