On our HRSD Support Center in the My Tasks page, there have been many requests to display the Parent HR Case number onto each HR task ticket. There are many use case where an HR Task will be assigned to a user who doesn't have access to the backend to review the parent case through the HR Agent Workspace. For Termination Lifecycle tasks to HR Business Partners or tasks sent to Payroll for required approvals, there are contacts who wouldn't normally be added to the watchlist of the parent case for privacy reasons. How can we provide the details for the task on the My Task page to facilitate the task resolution?

This should be completable with the OOB Employee Center -> Administration -> To-dos Configuration by modifying the configuration for HR Tasks.
The below highlights the To-Dos Configuration showing to get this working, note you will need to change the Detail type from Parent to Fields. If you're using Parent, it will actually link through to the Parent record, though if using Fields it does not. I was not able to use the Parent option AND get the number field to show.
