HR Survey Result Fields Missing (HR Case Number / HR Service) – How Are These Populated?

Hi Community,

I’m working with the sn_hr_pa_profile_metric_result database view and noticed that for many survey results, the fields HR Case Number and HR Service are empty, while for others they are populated correctly.

Since sn_hr_pa_profile_metric_result is a database view that combines data from assessment metrics, results, instances, and HR profile tables, I would like to understand:

  1. How are these fields usually populated in this view?

  2. In which scenarios would these fields remain empty?

  3. Where should I check in order to fix or map these values correctly for future survey results?

Here is a screenshot showing some records with populated fields and others blank (HR Case Number / HR Service). Any guidance on whether this is related to data mapping, ACLs, or something else would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Only if the person filling in the survey has access to the content of those fields, the fields are populated.

Check if the survey is public. Because, if it is, it can be taken without logging in. In that case, the system can't validate the user taking the survey and will not grant access to those fields.
