Toggle chat from menu item in portal

Hi 

i have a requirement, in which when we click a menu item in header then it should open the virtual chat window directly

so i tried below community post to achieve this

But i am not sure where this widget needs to be added to show on the portal beside our existing menu items

please help me to fix this or any alternative method to achieve the solution

As per this Toggle Chat client manually section ,i have created a widget but not sure how it can be visible on portal beside my existing menu items

Like from this point which you mentioned "For testing just created a new Service Portal page, on a Service Portal which has Agent Chat configuration active, added this new Service Portal widget to the created Service Portal page."  - should we add to our existing page in portal?

The manual explanation does contain some HTML and a link. Because that is something visible on your portal, you do have to place it somewhere on the where you want to literally display this.

 

So where do you want to display this?

i want to display on the header beside where all menu items were displayed as shown in the below picture with red color highlighted "Toggle chat"

 please guide me how to place there
