Topic category and Topic detail shows old value at where it's referred after renaming

Hi,
- I have renamed Topic detail and Topic category.
- Topic category name is showing as old value when it is selected in Topic detail/HR Service as a reference but I can see the new Name(renamed) by clicking on preview icon as shown in below image..
- Renamed topic detail but it is showing old value in HR Service when selected as a reference but I can see the new Name by clicking on preview as shown in below image.
Note: Topic detail, Topic category tables are in Human Resources: core Application but the records were created in Human Resources: Lifecycle events application.
Can anyone please help me in resolving this.

Please try clearing cache. This is very common with Taxonomies. Please Mark my answer and correct as helpful if it resolves your issue

Hi @MeghanaGotike ,
The renaming will be applicable only to the records which you will create post the changes.
Any existing records will not get updated as you want.
Hence, try creating new records and check.
