Translation of Article with Attachments

When translating an article with attachments, we understand that the attachments do not translate themselves, but should the attachments transfer to the translated article?  We are finding that .png do transfer to the translated article, but .pdf do not (we have not tried other attachment types).

Hello,

Technically, PDF attachment won't be automatically transferred to translated article (which is ideally new article with different sys_id).  It need to be manually moved from one article to another.

But for .png files since it was added in the HTML field, the source code will be copied to translated article.
