Triggering notification from LifeCycle events

Hi All,

I have requirement in where we need to trigger notifications for a new joiner who's email ID is passed as a string type from the Record producer and mapped to a field on HR Core Case. I'm selecting String Mail ID field from HR Core case table under 'Users/Groups on case' on Activity which is basically the recipient of the notification.

The issue is now the Activity set does not trigger the notification out to Mail ID selected from the HR Core case field.

Please provide your thoughts if there's a different way to trigger notifications from the Lifecycle events or I'm missing an configuration.

Is Mail ID a user in the system?  The Users/Groups field on the notification is designed to pick a user or group from the record.  You can reference Who Will Receive.  Try selecting the email field (i.e., Mail ID) for the "Users" field on the notification instead, since you can enter email addresses for the Users field.
