Unable to locate sn_hr_core_task sysid for inbound email processing

HI Community,

 

I'm having an issue, email is received with an error "Unable to locate sn_hr_core_task sysid for inbound email processing" and target field is empty.

Note : Email is sent by external mail id

I checked other community post related to it...but none show how to resolve this issue.

Is this the expected behaviour ? do you need to raise hi case to resolve this issue or any solution for this.

it looks you are testing inbound email action on some HR table.

what's the actual scenario you are testing?

In HR Task record, the assigned to person has sent a mail to payroll mail id via task (using compose email) and we got a reply from payroll mail id but the reply is not updated in the record.

On further investigation we come to know that we have received the mail in email logs but its state is in error and target field is empty.

In error string it shows Unable to locate sn_hr_core_task sysid of the record for inbound email processing

then check the email log record and see the related list.

it will tell which inbound action got processed and which got skipped.

Seems it was unable to find the matching record.

Did you check the incoming email and the email which was sent has matching watermark?

I checked the logs but none of them processed and watermark msg ref is same
