Hello,
We currently have a integration with Workday to pull in the Worker Data, and now we would like to use the ServiceNow OOB (out-of-box) action: "Look up Worker Time Off And Leave Of Absence Request." Documentation doesn't cover exactly how the Workday custom report should be created. I did find some old documentation around the Rome release version, but it did not work. The documentation for the San Diego, Tokyo, and Utah have removed this bit of info. I'm guessing they no longer maintain how to setup the report.
I was hoping that perhaps someone in the ServiceNow community could help with how the Custom Report was configured; if you have created a successful one, would it be possible to share the configuration info?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Dustin,
I don't have a client that has used the functionality for time off yet within ServiceNow. The Doc makes it seem there will be nine separate reports for time off. The other Advanced Integration reports are clearly defined. I have confirmed in all the resources I have access to. It may be worth opening a case with ServiceNow support, if no one else can assist.

Hi Susan,
Update: We did explore the Advanced Workday Integration option, and we did get some data back; We received data for Time off reasons, Time off plans, Time off types, and Time offs. The absence tables were a no go, as we do not use them in Workday.
But the issue is that the data received was not what we were expecting. It was all just config data.
It appears, all this config data comes together to support the concept of using SN as a means to request time off in Workday. To me, the documentation was not very clear on this at the time, but seems to have been updated; It's clear now that that is the intention of this integration.

Hello Dustin,
I am curious about how you pulled worker data from Workday. Did you utilize the workday integration hub?
I have tried Rest, SOAP with OAuth, and Basic and still can't connect to our Workday instance. Any insight would be constructive.
I appreciate any help you can provide.
Marcelo

Hi @Marcelo Pedrey1,
We are using Integration Hub with the Workday HR Spoke. We set this spoke up to use a SOAP connection. The documentation I used:
Reading back on my original post, the 'Look up Worker Time Off And Leave Of Absence Request' action requires a REST connection. We did not get that piece setup. However, we are looking into the Advanced Integration with Workday and hoping to leverage multiple RaaS reports to get this data into SN.
