Think back to the very first time you used the ServiceNow platform. How did you learn to use it? What resources were available to you? And what were your biggest struggles?

We are always trying to improve the resources available to new ServiceNow users to make learning about the platform faster and easier. Some of the resources we have available now include:

1. The ServiceNow Foundations Course

This course is a great introduction to the platform. It provides a basic overview, explains user interface (UI) navigation, and goes over the basic ServiceNow roles.

2. The ServiceNow Basics Playlist

The videos in this playlist explain UI navigation and provide tips to help you become more efficient at using the ServiceNow platform.

3. Knowledge Base: New HI Improvements

This landing page points to resources will help you become familiar with HI.

4. Knowledge Base: Solutions Resources Pages

Solutions resource pages list Knowledge Base articles and additional support resources that cover common topics.

5. Product Documentation: Getting Started

Review training, term glossaries, introductory books and an overview of the product in the ServiceNow product documentation.

Want to find videos that provide basic overviews of ServiceNow applications? Navigate to https://www.youtube.com/user/servicenowdemo, and search for "Getting Started" or "Demo" in the channel search.

If a video title contains "Getting Started" or "Demo" it means the video provides a high level demonstration of an application. More advanced videos usually contain the words "How To" or "Tutorial" in the title.
