I am honored to be a 6-time ServiceNow MVP, but the real reason I keep showing up is simple: the Community.

I focus my contributions on real-world problems and questions that spark curiosity—those “is this even possible?” scenarios. I love turning them into “here’s exactly how to make it work,” blending curiosity with practical, tested solutions.

I started out searching the old Wiki, reading answers (and the occasional bad advice) and experimenting in my PDI. The Community, layered on top of formal training, lead me to consider alternate approaches, and helped me figure out what was possible, how to build it, and how to troubleshoot when things went sideways. That experience shaped how I try to contribute today:

  1. Unblock people quickly (give a fish) – Sometimes you just need a direct answer to keep a project, a career, or a customer moving.
  2. Show the “why,” not just the “what” (teach how to fish) – Explaining the reasoning better equips someone for the next challenge.
  3. Keep stretching myself (dissect the fish) – The toughest questions are often the most rewarding. They force me to explore new features, revisit old ones, and learn from other contributors.

The Community has helped me grow, which is a big part of why I’m still here.  Now I get to be that resource for others. I stay involved because I value a Community where good questions matter, knowledge is shared freely, and learning never stops. As long as there are interesting problems to solve and people to help, you’ll keep finding me in the threads—sometimes giving a fish, as often as possible teaching how to fish, and always learning alongside everyone else.
