What do you create?
I build real-world learning ecosystems by organizing the ServiceNow Delhi NCR Meetup, creating one of the fastest-growing local communities in our network. My focus is on high-impact, in-person events where developers and architects move beyond just consuming content to sharing practical, real-world implementation insights. By bridging the gap between local talent and global initiatives like CreatorCon, I help practitioners gain the confidence and mentorship they need to accelerate their careers. You can explore our community growth and session highlights at https://www.meetup.com/new-delhi-servicenow-developer-meetup/ or follow my updates on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/debasis-majhi-15595a37/
How did you get that started?
My journey with the ServiceNow community began long before I became an organizer.
- In 2017, I attended my very first ServiceNow meetup, where I experienced the true power of community learning.
- That experience changed my perspective—I didn’t just gain knowledge, I gained mentors, guidance, and lifelong connections.
- I continued attending meetups regularly, learning from experts and building strong relationships within the ecosystem.
- In December 2023, I got the opportunity to host the Delhi ServiceNow Meetup, which became a turning point in my journey.
- Since then, there has been no looking back. I committed to scaling the community with consistency and purpose.
What we built together:
- A strong and active local community of 4500+ members
- 7 successful meetups in 2025 alone, each delivering meaningful learning and networking opportunities
- A structured mentorship and growth environment, helping professionals upskill and advance
- A platform that contributed to rising stars emerging from the Delhi community
Our goal was simple but powerful, Make every meetup count and make the community stronger with each interaction.
Why do you keep sharing? How many times have you been named a ServiceNow MVP?
Being named a ServiceNow MVP for the first time is a significant milestone for me, but more importantly, it has deepened my commitment to the people who make this ecosystem what it is. I continue to share and contribute because I’ve seen firsthand how a supportive community can completely transform a person’s career path. Early in my own journey, I was lucky enough to meet mentors who shaped my growth, and today I feel a genuine responsibility to create that same impact for others. There is a specific kind of drive that comes from watching individuals learn, grow, and eventually succeed through the platforms we build together.
What makes my approach a bit different is that I don't just focus on answering questions behind a screen, I believe in the power of real human connections. I invest my energy into physical meetups and building the community from the ground up because I believe that is where the most meaningful growth happens. To me, contributing means more than just sharing knowledge. it’s about enabling people, creating new opportunities, and strengthening our entire ecosystem at the grassroots level. This recognition isn't just a trophy on a shelf, it’s a personal mission to do more, give more, and build a more inclusive future for every ServiceNow developer. This recognition is not just a milestone. it’s a responsibility to do more, give more, and build more for the ServiceNow ecosystem.
