What do you create?

In 2022, I created a blog called "sn-nerd" to back up and index all my community content prior to the migration to another platform. From that point on, I continued to write my content on my blog sn-nerd.com and tried to create monthly content. I also maintain a custom application regress-atf-recorder.com, which extends the functionality of the Automated Test Framework to record actions and convert them into test steps.

I'm also involved in a grassroots local ServiceNow meetup exchangenow.org as a regular speaker and MC. I like to hit the big stage too, speaking multiple times at various Knowledge events over the years.

How did you get that started?

When I first landed my first ServiceNow role, I felt like I was behind in my career when compared to my peers who I graduated with at university. It was time to catch up. My first step was to obsessively read all the content posted on the community forum to learn as much as possible. At this point, I was all in with ServiceNow, and started posting my own learnings on the community. I became somewhat obsessed with answering questions and posting my own solutions, sharing my lessons on stage at Knowledge16 and eventually leading to the creation of my blog.

Why do you keep sharing?

I am incredibly thankful for the contributions of others when I first started in the community. Now I am paying it forward to others who are just starting out or need a helping hand to solve a tricky problem on the platform. It's also useful to refer back to when the same problem rears its head once again.

How many times have you been named a ServiceNow MVP?

I first joined the MVP program in 2020, and later joined the Developer MVP cohort until it merged into a single program in 2024. This year marks my 9th MVP award.
