I didn't start to be seen. I started to learn. The rest followed
Hi, I'm Rohila Voona - a 5x ServiceNow MVP and Certified Technical Architect. The version of me who started in 2020 and the one writing this today are very different. The community is the reason for that transformation.
What do I create?
I contribute answers in the ServiceNow Community along with articles and sessions - all rooted in real experience. With 4500+ community answers and currently ranked among the top 40 on the community leaderboard, I focus on helping people get unstuck from problems I've personally faced before. My articles are built from real implementation experience and the hidden things we often miss. My sessions are intentionally broad, covering the overall platform so everyone walks away with something.
How did I get started?
Late 2020 - no roadmap, no mentor, and honestly no idea the MVP program even existed. I started answering questions simply because I had learned things the hard way, and I knew others needed help the same way those answers once helped me. Halfway through 2021, I randomly came across an article/video by Allen and later one by Robert about the MVP program, applied, and received my first award in 2022 - a moment that felt special precisely because I never chased it. 🏆
Why do I keep sharing?
Because I’ve learned just as much as I’ve contributed. Every answer sharpened my debugging skills and strengthened my ability to approach the same problem from multiple angles. Every article deepened my own understanding. Every session pushed me further than I thought I could go - including facing a stage fear I once couldn't hide. I do it in my own way, at my own pace, and the people who truly understand what this kind of contribution takes - their respect means everything. Being a 5x ServiceNow MVP in 2026 is an honour, but the real reward has always been the growth. 🚀❤️
My advice is simple - start small, stay consistent, and do it for the right reasons. Respect what others are building alongside you 🙌 . Different journeys, Different timelines, Different strengths - None of it is competition. Keep your content genuine, keep showing up, and trust that real contribution always leaves a mark whether it gets recognised or not.
All my articles and sessions are on my community profile - do take a look, and follow me on LinkedIn!
