Hello Team,

Please find attached screenshots from Nexthink showing the page load performance metrics for ServiceNow.

Based on our observations, a significant percentage of page loads are being classified as frustrating page loads in Nexthink. The screenshots provide details on the affected ServiceNow URLs, page load times, page load volumes, and the corresponding frustration rates observed by end users.

Additionally, please review the current thresholds configured in Nexthink for the ServiceNow application:

  • Page Load Time:
    • Average: 2 seconds
    • Frustrating: 4 seconds
  • Transaction Duration:
    • Average: 4 seconds
    • Frustrating: 16 seconds

Could you please review these values and advise whether they are appropriate for your ServiceNow environment? If not, kindly suggest the recommended thresholds that should be configured so that user experience is measured accurately.

We appreciate your feedback and recommendations.

Thank you.

Hi @arjshubh ,

Normally, the out-of-the-box Incident form in ServiceNow loads in about 2–3 seconds without any customization. This can vary slightly depending on network and browser performance. If the load time is longer, it usually indicates that additional fields, client scripts, UI policies, or business rules are running on the form.

Hello @arjshubh ,

Typical baseline load time (OOTB, no customization):

  • 1–3 seconds → On a well-optimized production instance

  • 3–5 seconds → On a shared PDI / dev instance (since they are slower and often shared with multiple users)

If it takes more than 5–6 seconds on a clean instance with no customizations, it usually means:

  • The instance is under heavy load

  • The network latency is high

  • There are too many related lists or form sections being loaded
