Fields on Forms view changed post Clone down

We did a clone down from our production instance to our test instance last weekend, an operation we do about every 6 months or so.
Our test instance is scheduled to upgrade to Washington, DC release next weekend.
Post clone, in Test, several fields on forms are no longer displaying the same way.
For example, in Production on the RITM form, this is the top section view:
The grayed out fields are fine - they go to Read only upon submittal.
However, the same view in our Test Instance is like this:
Those grayed out fields are now just displaying as text, not shaded
Not affecting our Dev instance, which is on DC.
Any ideas anyone?

Its look like clone did not done in right manner, my point before are these 2 isnatcne on same patches?
