How to map assignment group to assignment group of the parent incident when the incident was resolve

When a knowledge open submission is created upon closure of incident, the assignment group should be mapped to assignment group of the parent incident when  the incident was resolved.

How can we Populate the Assignment group field in a knowledge submission with Assignment group of the parent incident when the incident was resolved

Potentially a few ways to do this. I'd generally always advocate using Flow Designer as it's a simple way to manage this stuff while giving you a consolidated UI to keep track of what Flows you have running, and any issues you might run into. 

 

Out of interest when you say KB submission, what is that exactly? Normal OOTB behavior allows for a KB article to be created when an Incident is closed, but it doesn't inherently have any assignment. Have you added assignment groups or ownership in this way to KB articles?

Hi Dan,

When we submit a incident we are creating a draft knowledge submission from incident, so we need that assignment group which is in incident form that assignment group has to populate accordingly in kb submission.
