Hello,
When we Promote an Incident to Major Incident, If Assignment group is empty then it gets assigned to "Major Incident Management" Assignment group. But if i look at Major Incident Property value of it, its empty. How is it getting assigned?

Hi, OOTB if you are installing the MIM-plugin with demo data then the assignment rule will be added.
I have 2 instance where i installed MIM-plugin without demo data , this rule is not there but on other instance with demo data , rule is present.

Can you check if there are any BR's that is updating the group value?
use Field Watcher which tracks and displays all actions that the system performs on a selected form field.

Please check if there is an Assignment Rule configured for Major Incident in table "sysrule_assignment".
