Workspace Home Page Cards Not Updating Live

Are the cards on the Home page in the ServiceNow Workspace supposed to update live, or do they only refresh after reloading the page?

The article you shared is about enabling live updates for Workspace Lists. However, my issue is related to the summary cards on the Workspace Home page, not lists.
