Instance dev368990 is "undergoing unscheduled maintenance" but has not come back online.

Any advice on being able to retrieve my instance would be appreciated.

The message seems to indicate no real problem, but I suspect the instance is gone.

Thanks in anticipation of any assistance.

Hi @Tim Wainwright1

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

I have already waited several days and at one point there was a different message about some sort of internal issue that would be resolved in minutes.
I am going to release the instance and hope it doesn't happen again.

Yes, agreed. Over the last few days this issue has become more common, and many users are facing it. Some users get their PDI within a week or two, but others are still stuck in the waiting queue or end up releasing and requesting a new instance.

Even after releasing and re-requesting a PDI, the wait time can go up to 6–7 days, and in some cases the instance is still not allocated. This is a known issue, so at this point either you wait or try your luck again when capacity is available.

Hi @Tim Wainwright1

If your  your Servicenow Developer PDI  has been stuck in a "launching," "waking up"  ,"500 error" or not getting online state for more than 24 hours, then  I will  advice you  to release the instance and request a new one .

As you know there is no support available for PDI.

Note: These days requesting New instance also taking more than 5 days time for fulfillment. Lots of conerns reported on the same.

Please Accept the solution if it assisted you with your question & Mark this response as Helpful.
