Hi,
We're about to install a new instance of ServiceNow (Rome) in an on-premise site, and not sure what versions of Linux and MariaDB to use.
The versions that are recommended by ServiceNow are outdated and will soon no longer be supported.
Has anyone installed an instance with other Linux and MariaDB versions than the ones recommended by ServiceNow?
What versions of Linux and MariaDB are working for your instance?
Thanks!

Hi
the current version of the deployment guide for on-premise instances can be found at https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0563731
You can read there that ServiceNow recommends CentOS 7.x and MariaDB 10.2
Kind regards
Maik

Hi Maik,
Thanks for your answer.
I've read the guide, the problem is that the versions ServiceNow are recommending are outdated and will soon no longer be supported (MariaDB 10.2 will be in end-of-support a few months from now).
Has anyone installed ServiceNow on different, more advanced versions of Linux and MariaDB than the ones suggested by ServiceNow?

What version of Linux did you use?
Did you run in problems if you were a few versions off?
What on-premise SN version are you using?
I'll on Rhel 8.X a few versions behind Xandau currently but want to update soon.
