Can we filter search widget to show certain suggestions for Catalogs and KB's

Hi, can we restrict the search widget which has AI Search and Zing search is enable, i need filter to show suggestions of catalog items and KB's which is in a particular application scope or in a topic with child topics

can you share me the steps to add those filter, thanks in advance
