What does "integrate a model" actually do

I am migrating our PI solution definitions to PI workbench and the final guided step is "integrate a model". What does that actually mean/do? I've already "integrated" a model but I have not seen any changes and docs have not been helpful.

The "integrate a model" step in the PI workbench is meant to activate what is required for the PI solution to start generating predictions, for example, activating Business Rules or UI messages based on the use case.
For example, in the PI for HRSD Workbench, the integration adds the Solution to the list of HR AI Configuration, that can be accessed in HR Administration > HR AI Configurations > Solution definition.
