Hello,
I have been using the Delegate feature in my Prod instance.
When someone on the company goes on leave I just need to create the Delegate Record and all the approvals will go to the specified person.
I do have a License to be an approver (approver_user) on my ID. When I tested this feature I found out that the Delegated person doesn't need to have this role to be able to approve the Changes.
I'm wondering how all of this works... When I assign someone as a Delegate... Does this person counts as another License? Or it only uses mine temporarily until the Delegation finishes.... (I'm still able to approve my changes when I delegate someone... that's why I'm feeling that It will add a new License and I might get double charged by it??)
Does someone know how this works?
Thanks in advance!

I have the same question, maybe the approval process checks the sys_delegate_user table and sees that you have the temporary "right" to approve on behalf of. but i am not sure if this is how it works.
