Can our partner access to HI? If so, can they create HI account?

Yes, we allow authorized partners to access HI.   These are typically support partners. ie they handle support on your behalf or they are implementation partners ie they are providing an implementation service for you.   To set this up we need an agreement to be in place confirming that you agree with the authorized partner having access and then Service Now will set up the relationship for you.   Here is how to do it;

As a Partner, you may have a need to request clones, plugin activation, access to customer instances, etc., on behalf of customers when you have a consulting agreement to do work at the customer site. It is important that ServiceNow verify that you are authorized to act on the customer's behalf. Partners must provide a copy of their Statement of Work (SOW) signature page and details about the engagement.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal through the Single Sign-On link
  2. Under the Quick Links Section , click the Deployment Registration link to and complete the Deployment record request.
  3. Professional Services Operations will then create a Deployment record in SURF for the partner/company SOW agreement.
  4. The requestor and the assigned engagement manager will receive a notification when the Deployment record is created by Professional Services Operations. PLEASE NOTE: Partner access to the customer account in HI is no longer automatically enabled when the deployment record is created. If you need to expedite access to the customer account, please contact: partnerdeploy@servicenow.com

When implementation work is completed, you no longer need access to customer resources.Therefore, when the Deployment record is marked Completed in SURF, your access is removed from the customer's Company record.

If there are any issues with the deployment registration, you can report them by sending an email to: partnerdeploy@servicenow.com.
