Now Assist for ITOM Overview

Now Assist for ITOM is ITOM’s generative AI-powered application that enhances the ITOM experience. With Generative AI, we are able to improve the alert analysis & investigation experience of operators, reduce MTTR of alerts, and empower operators of all experience levels, by generating a response containing an alert briefing, probable root cause, recommended remediation actions, and summarized historical incident information. ITOM is incorporating Generative AI into its features across ITOM AIOps & ITOM Visibility, stay tuned for future releases.

Current functionality of Now Assist for IT Operations Management include: 

• Alert Assist
  • Alert Analysis 
  • Alert Investigation

Getting Started

Now Assist for ITOM requires an ITOM Operator Pro+ or ITOM AIOps Enterprise+ subscription.  These offerings include Alert Analysis, Alert Investigation, and future Now Assist for ITOM capabilities.  If you do not already have one of these licenses, please work with your ServiceNow account team.
