AI Strategy in CSDM

Hi Everyone,

Our organization is currently defining our AI strategy within the CSDM framework and we are looking for insights on how others classify these solutions.

          1. How are organizations defining their AI strategy within CSDM?

          2. How are AI capabilities aligned to existing applications?

Hi   @sdonthula

According to the CSDM 5.0 white paper(refer: https://www.servicenow.com/community/common-service-data-model/csdm-5-finally-get-the-csdm-5-white-p...) , there are two CI classes that support AI: AI Function [cmdb_ci_function_ai] and AI & Model Application [cmdb_ci_appl_ai_application]. The AI Function class is used for externally developed and hosted AI CIs, whereas the AI & Model Application class is intended for AI items that are developed and hosted internally.
