Azure Cloud Discovery -
We have to implement an Azure tenant which has more than 2k subscriptions. Since 1 Subscription - 1 schedule mapping will take significant time , we decided to go for Management groups as only 1 schedule has to be created , its running fine but the problem here is its causing performance issues in the instance. Could you please enlighten as to how to go forward with this as the Performance would be severely impacted if its moved to Production.

What's the performance issues you are seeing on the instance?
remember that when you setup discovery for 2000 subscriptions, there's discovery patterns running to cover all these and it will run with as much elasticity as the number of threads and mids.
some tips to reduce noise on the instance -
- discovery can create lot of logging so ensure that all your logging is set to normal - if you set verbose mode on for troubleshooting, remember to turn it off later
- restrict to only specific regions that are of interest and use e.g. do not have korea regions added for instance, if these are not used
- do not have many mid's running - restrict to just 1 or 2 - too many mid's making API requests to azure especially from 1 geo-location can cause azure throttling to happen, which can slow down the process
hope this helps

which cloud - you can run the schedules in the PA resource pack for cloud resources app scope and this will populate the tables used by the cloud resources explorer. normally though, these schedules should run every 15 minutes as per default setting. check if someone has disabled the schedule runs.
