Can anyone explain how to integrate SCOM with ServiceNow Connector in the Event Management process?

Hi Ramya,

 

Following on your questions:

 

Do we need to create SCOM userID and Password in ServiceNow or SCOM? yes, and sometimes it needs to be with admin access. (I would recommend using a service account)

 

 

1. Created connector instance for SCOM... Ok

2. Created basic-auth credentials for SCOM in ServiceNow (Is this same account present in SCOM Application)?

3. Added SCOM Host IP address and Mid server in connector instance..Ok

 

Do I miss anything in the SCOM and ServiceNow configuration? 

 I remember we need to place a couple of DLL files from the SCOM management server to the ServiceNow MID Server. Not sure, if this has been completed?
