Can mid server report to more than one instance

Hi, 

Is it possible to connect one mid server to Dev and Prod both the instances, so that I could get all the CIs/resources discovered by one mid server to both Dev and Prod instances.

Hi Andrew, 

I understood the approach, however, rather than running these things manually, isn't it better that I ran the mid server installer once again and it should do the things automatically basis on the inputs I provide during the installation.

Just to update you that I could ran the installer again on the same hosts to configure one more mid server instance and it worked well, thank you for the hints 🙂

Hello @Deepanshu Grov1 ,

I am also trying to install another mid server on same host machine. Your response is very helpful. I wanted to know if you had to increase the RAM/HEAP memory on the host machine(its a VM for us). Since I configured one mid-server for Development, it has the following configuration and this is exactly set in the host machine. I will have to double the RAM, please let know more on this.

MID Server communications happen through an External Communications Channel (ECC) queue. One way to think about the ECC queue is like an airline check-in kiosk.
