Can two pattern trigger for same process?

I have a scenario where two applications are using same process. I have two classifiers with diff condition based on parameters and they match the process independently as we expect. However I see one of these patterns is only triggered during scan. Has anyone come across such scenario and what is the recommendation here.
Can we discover these two applications based on the single process?
Thankyou,

Hi there @nicks8850
Yes even if both classifiers match, Discovery will generally trigger only one pattern for a process based on priority/classification logic.
Recommended approach is to use one classifier/pattern and distinguish the applications inside the pattern using arguments, ports, config, etc.

Hi Azar,
I am running into this issue again. I tried populating attributes(even the identifier attributed for the CI both dependent and main table) in the extension but still it did not create another CI rather updated the existing CI. I am not able to find a way to create another CI using the pattern extension. This extension(for this example) needs to create another CI for same class which main pattern is populating.
I want to work on this solution as in future I may need to create another CI from the pattern extensions. Any resource or link or anything which can help me achieve this.
Any help there.
