CI Install Status sync to Asset State not working

When the Install Status of a CI is updated (for example, to Installed or Retired), the State attribute of the corresponding Asset record is not synchronized (for example, to In Use  or Retired) even though this synchronization is configured to go both ways in the Asset CI Install Status Mappings table.   I found an KB article KB0717902 describing this issue, but it does not specifically call out Kingston.  The latest version listed is Helsinki.

I'm looking for some clarification on where this issue exists and if there is a fix in a later version?

Does this issue exist in Kingston?   What about Madird?  we have an upgrade scheduled soon

thanks

This issue would be present in Kingston as well. The solution has been provided in the KB, i.e, to modify the  AssetAndCISynchronizer Script Include as specified in the Workaround section:

Install Status for Hardware CIs (e.g. Pending Install) is mapped from Asset to CI but not mapped fro...

This is an ongoing issue (New York) and one that is not slated for any fix:

The workaround does work pretty well.
