We're currently trying to quickly populate our asset records through discovery and we hit a snag when it comes to Cisco stacked switches; discovery only finds the primary switch but we'd like to discover all members of the stack.
I found on share the following post - Custom Probe/Sensor - Cisco Stacked Switches (member info) but it assumes you know how discovery works and I haven't been able to make it work, the error message I got is: No sensors defined
How do you deal with stacked switches? were you able to make the shared probe/sensor work? and if you did, how?
Thanks!

hey - Good news, the update set for Cisco Stacked Switches is now obsolete!!
Well if you're on at least Kingston - there is a new Shared Library for Stacked Switches that is OOB in our London release (Network Switch Pattern). This can be back ported to Kingston.
Let me know if you're still using Probes/Sensors.

Did you have any thoughts on this issue ?

Hi Ryan,
Thank you for your answer. I had activated the pattern but it didn't work, so I managed to find your custom probe/sensor, I adapted it and it worked.
Cheers,
Roberto

Hi - please use the standard OOB Network Switch Pattern as this will be supported by ServiceNow.
