Hi
Do anyone know what is the use of correlation id in configuration items ?.
If the correlation id not present . what will happen?

Correlation_id is normally used in integration to save a key from the other system ServiceNow is integrating with.

Thanks i understand.
So based on this CIS correlation id that through integration we will get the incident correlation display correct?
For Example
i dont have correlation id for one of the CIS. and on incident we i am not getting the correlation display . Is that because we dont have the correlation in CIS

Without knowing your setup, I would think so. So if the field is blank it should mean it does not have a connection with another system!
