Create OT asset button on CMDB forms

Hi all,

 

After utah upgrade on my instance ,For CMDB forms like windows server,Linux server ,on clicking on new button when new form is opened ,I am observing 'create OT asset button' beside of submit button .Could you please help me with use case why this button is available on main form by default.

I doubt its because of Upgrade

Thanks for your response Rahul.I can see ,This plugin(operational technology manager) is paid plugin and this is not installed in my instance. Please let me know if you have any information regarding Create OT asset button.

there are many OT products please check for all. I dnt see other reason why this BUTTON is present.

Hi Abhishek,

 

The UI action 'Create OT Asset' is configured on the 'Hardware' class OOTB ,since the server class is the child of Hardware you could see the UI action on server form .Please find the link https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-manufacturing/page/product/mftg-manufacturing-oper-tech-...

 

This UI action is available from the San Diego version which is useful to convert any CI to OT Asset.
