Creating a change template

Not applicable

Our shop has a need to create a change template (for loading multiple change tickets with set configuration items).

I read the wiki site and found the instructions on "Create Change Request Tasks with a Template"

From the Wiki Site @SN
Create the necessary Templates
First create the master Template. Navigate to System Definition --> Templates and click New. Give your Template a name, set the table (in this case to change_request), check the Stand alone checkbox, add fields set be set automatically in the Change Request, and save the record by right-clicking the header bar and selecting Save.

When I go into our development environment or our production environment, I don't have the "Templates" option under the System Definition menu.

May I know if I need to create these templates using another set of directions?

Hi Kimberly,

The Templates app is not active by default. You can edit the app and make it active or you can also access templates by right clicking on the top of the change form and edit templates.
