Credentials authentication Failed

Hi Everyone,

We have a request to add new Servers to ServiceNow. When i run discovery, there is an error in ECC queue called -Adding Target to blacklist. No valid Credential found for target types [SSH Password, SSH Private key]. Could you please let me know the process and steps i should follow to make it successful. Port 22 is open (SSH).

I Have tested the credentials which are there in ServiceNow. Getting Authentication Failed.

I logged in to Mid server and pinged the target IP. It is pinging.

Thanks in Advance.

use a 3rd party tool from the mid like putty. Check to see if they work or not, my guess is they won't with all your previous testing and will have to work with the target owner to get the correct user/pass.

Hi Doug,

As you mentioned User/pass in the comments, what exactly are those? are they related to SUDO? or how do i need to ask user name and password?

Also on Mid Server Install PUTTY Client and try accessing the Linux/Unix Server Using Same Credential.
