CyberArk External Credential Resolver

Hi,

we want to use our CyberArk Credential Storage without installing AIM API Client. Therefore we followed the documentation (https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-platform-security/page/product/credentials/concept/e...) and used the ServiceNow Git to create our JAR-File to resolve the credentials (https://github.com/ServiceNow/mid-cyberark-external-credential-resolver/tree/main).

At the moment we cannot reach CyberArk and we are asking ourselves how is the MID server supposed to know how to contact to CyberArk? We haven't stored an address or anything else anywhere.

Has somebody already installed CyberArk with this documentation and can help us?

The CyberArk agent has to be installed on each MID server that needs to resolve CyberArk Credentials. That agent handles the connection to CyberArk as well as all the credential resolving traffic.

That agent install directory will have log files that will be very helpful in determining your issue.

So we need to install the CyberArk Agent to the MID Server?
