Hello

ServiceNow MID server uses HTTPS to access CyberArk. Please see the diagram: External credential storage architecture

The maximum frequency would depend on your resources for the MID server, CyberArk and your network. I would recommend you to test this with a test system if you need to run discovery jobs more frequent than every hour.

The duration of the discovery jobs would also depend on your resources.

In order to enhance the performance, you may want to dedicate a CyberArk web access server to the discovery jobs but this is only theoretical. I would recommend that you run some tests first. Normally both the MID server and CAWA are very efficient and it is unlikely you will need a dedicated server.
