Hello,
We are currently in the process of implementing GCP cloud discovery project. I am interested in gaining clarity regarding the cloud resources that will be automatically discovered and populated in the ServiceNow CMDB. While I've reviewed ServiceNow prod doc site (link here), I've noticed that the provided information about data collected for GCP cloud discovery does not cover all GCP resources comprehensively.
Example: we are using GCP cloud storage bucket, Pub/Sub topics but these are not discovered OOTB in CMDB
My primary objective in seeking this information is to ascertain the CMDB classes that will be populated by default and those that necessitate the creation of new custom patterns. Please advise.
Best regards,
Ashwani

You can refer this link for the OOTB populated classes -https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/utah-it-operations-management/page/product/service-mapping/...
Also for the cloud resources which are not discovered ,try checking if there are OOTB patterns available in Servicenow as there is no documentation which says what ci's are not discovered.

hi Ashwani out of box patterns are available for most standard infra on google cloud, for others that you need to discover and present in CMDB we provide pattern designer to build your own patterns. for simple cases you may not need more than the object itself to be presented in cmdb e.g. like showing a pub-sub connection, you need the name of the resource, type, ID and relation to region.. for such cases, use the GCP resource inventory pattern and setup the serverless schedule for this. adding resource type to the resource inventory inclusion whitelist (from left nav menu) will start the collection of the needed resource types.
