Hi Guys,
I am trying to discover Aruba 8320 and 8400 switches. They are fairly new and the OOB configurations of sNow is not enough to discover them properly.
Although there is a pattern called "Network Switch" do I still need to create a new custom pattern or can I somehow add the MIBs of the devices and associate them with the OOB pattern?
Thanks in advance!

New model types do not (usually) require any customized patterns or MIBs. You'll want to add the sysObjectID to the SNMP OID Classification table to properly define them.
A beginner's guide to discovering SNMP devices is a great article to start you off on how to scan, classify, and troubleshoot for SNMP Discovery.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for the response.
I already added the device in the SNMP OID Classification table and it triggers the network switch pattern:
Unfortunetly once the discovery is finished the device looks like this:
It doesn't have any network adapters, switchports, vlans, relationships .... in other words no basic configurations.
Any Idea how I can fix this?
