Discovery and Short Description field

I want to turn off Discovery from writing to the Short Description field. Where is the configuration to change this setting?kimwebinger

That depends on the OS, what I do when curious what field gets written from what sensor is goto discovery definition >sensors and do a search of the script field for the attribute value, such as short_description   (remember to use the dictionary value and not the label) if its not there check the script includes...
