Hey,
I notice that the Cisco IP discovery is an older topic. Does anyone know if there is a new Pattern/Probe to scan Cisco IP phones by asset in the newer version of ServiceNow (Madrid/New York). I notice in some of the communities that there is a pattern that scans Cisco Call Manager and there needs to be a customization to pull the each phone into the CMDB. Is this still the case?

I do not see any pattern in the out of the box instance so the classifier and the probes/patterns have to be created. Do you have the SNMP credentials to access the device and the most important think is whether SNMP is enabled on the given CISCO IP phone devices?

Most telecommunication groups disable SNMP on their IP Phones, which will disallow any type of Discovery scans on them. However, if you have the ability to access your Cisco UCM via SNMP you can pull those registered phones in.
I can confirm that this update set still works today despite the revision history being Dublin: https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/share/contents/2271821_cisco_ip_phone_discovery_dublin?v=1...

Hey,
Do you know if this pattern/update set can pick up Cisco VTC Codecs, Conference room Cameras and touch panels?

Other than phones, I have seen Cisco Telepresence units and WebEx room kits come through. If you do a SNMP table query for ccmProductTypeTable, you should be able to see the possibilities of devices.
