Discovery Errors - Payload Processing / Check Output

Hi Everyone,

We have been starting to look at Discovery and while it's found a lot of our gear, there are a few things that have some errors I can't seem to troubleshoot easily. Here's an example during discovery of a switch:

Similar things are happening with our NetApp clusters - The "Discovery" log is fine, and you can see the details of the device being found and categorised, but when it comes to the "Check Output" set, it fails. We have also seen some errors such as "duplicate serial numbers" which seem pretty hard to troubleshoot as well, however this one doesn't really give us much information.

Where should I start looking for more in-depth details, and how could we troubleshoot?

Thanks a lot,
Andrew

Hi Daniel,

We upgraded to KP8 last night and I can confirm the NetApp pattern does now work.

Thanks!

Andrew,

could you please open an incident for the issue on your dev instance and ask for it to be assigned to dev-sw-pattern?

that way i could personally take care of it.

Hey Daniel,

Sorry, I think you misunderstood. I CAN discover our NetApps now. I have closed our incident (INT3845687). Thanks

oh that's great. i read "can confirm the NetApp pattern does now work" and thought you wrote does not work haha. have a good day 🙂

Hi Andrew,

I am also facing the same issue like yours in the  NetApp Storage Cluster-Mode where in the pattern i am getting the error as  "Failed Exploring CI Pattern, Pattern name: NetApp Storage Cluster-Mode, To Check Pattern Log Press Here "

When i am trying to check what went wrong i am getting the error as yours present in the screen shot. Writen as  "2019-04-08 02:12:32: Identification CI Errors:
Abandoned due to too many errors,Abandoned due to too many errors,Abandoned due to too many errors,Abandoned due to too many errors,Abandoned due to too many errors,Abandoned due to too many errors,Abandoned due to too many errors".

Not able to figure out what went wrong.

COuld you please help me what you did in your changes so yours starts working fine.
