Hi Everyone,
We have been starting to look at Discovery and while it's found a lot of our gear, there are a few things that have some errors I can't seem to troubleshoot easily. Here's an example during discovery of a switch:
Similar things are happening with our NetApp clusters - The "Discovery" log is fine, and you can see the details of the device being found and categorised, but when it comes to the "Check Output" set, it fails. We have also seen some errors such as "duplicate serial numbers" which seem pretty hard to troubleshoot as well, however this one doesn't really give us much information.
Where should I start looking for more in-depth details, and how could we troubleshoot?
Thanks a lot,
Andrew

Hi,
I can see from the above chat that this error was fixed in 'PRB1286427' 2 years back but we are still encountering this error for Network switches in my company and we are in Paris version.
Can anyone please help with how to fix this and the RCA of this error?

Had a similar issue develop in a new instance due to a business rule put in place on the CMDB that restricted read access using a "before query" setup.
Check your CMDB_CI and the specific class table ACL's and Business Rules for any funny business.
