Hello Experts,
Discovery is not able to pull the serial number for Zebra model printers and some other model firewalls. Is there any reason why there is no serial number being returned for only these specific models? Other than serial number, discovery is able to fetch all other details.
Is there any specific reason for this? Is there something i need to do to get the serial number?
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Uday,
Can you make sure you have right MIB files and OIDs for the models you are trying to discover. You can follow this video to understand how its done https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhg3Uw8KRRM
Thanks

Hello Sandeep,
we are using probes to discover the printers. we don't have patterns yet for printer discovery. How can we troubleshoot while using probes?
please help me.

Hi
I guess you can go and check the discovery log, if patterns are executed, you can open the pattern log and see why relevant step was not getting the info.
You can run a debug from there and check which pattern step corresponds to populating serial number and see if you get any info or error in that step.
Based on this you can proceed further.
