Discovery is not able to pull the serial number for zebra model printers and from some firewalls

Hello Experts,

Discovery is not able to pull the serial number for Zebra model printers and some other model firewalls. Is there any reason why there is no serial number being returned for only these specific models? Other than serial number, discovery is able to fetch all other details.

Is there any specific reason for this? Is there something i need to do to get the serial number?

Please help me.

May i know if the case you opened fixed the issue for NonLinkOs Zebra printers ?
In our case the serial number is left empty. So hopefully the case you mentioned is resolving the issue ?

Hello @brukasmj 

Zebra printers discovery is not supported OOB. You will have to create a custom sensor and probe. The above link was a good startup point for me and we were able to get device SN. You need a correct/latest MIB file, OID etc to start, and the Zebra website is the right place to download it from.
